Giants - Saints 112-120 Very expected game in Stoke where 9th ranked Giants (3-8) were defeated by fifth ranked Saints (6-5) 120-112. Saints made 27-of-33 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Giants' players. Giants were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Australian guard Kyle Adnam (186-1993) nailed a double-double by scoring 28 points and 16 assists for the winning side and the former international forward Tohi Smith-Milner (205-1995, college: Polk State CC) accounted for 28 points and 9 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). South Sudanese-Australian center Matur Maker (208-1998) came up with 29 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Avery Woodson (188-1993, college: Butler) added 31 points respectively for Giants in the defeat. Five Saints and four Giants players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Saints. They maintain fifth place with 6-5 record. Giants at the other side dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Jets. Saints will play against higher ranked Nuggets (#3) in Dunedin in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rams' coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. They shot the lights out from three nailing 19 long-distance shots on high 54.3 percentage. Sharks players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Nuggets' players.
